Once, during a visit to my friend’s house, I was watching her plant collection. At that time, my eyes were stuck on a hanging basket with long, white, furry-looking stems spilling over the sides. At first sight, it gave me a weird feeling. Then, I looked closer and found it was a cactus. I asked my friend, “What is this plant?” She replied, “It’s my monkey tail cactus. Do you want a cutting of it? It’s really an easy-growing plant. And also blooms.” I said, “That’s interesting.” But I didn’t show interest in getting a cut because, at that time, I was a beginner; I didn’t know about caring for cactus, and it seemed difficult for me to make it survive.
